DESCRIPTION
This stunning vintage 1963 is superbly preserved and has recently benefited from an expert overhaul by Roberto using plastic resonators and the highest quality Pisoni pads made to his precise specifications. Her original lacquer remains throughout 90 percent of the body and shows a deep cognac hue. Her voice is slighty to the brighter side of the tonal spectrum while retaining a righteous bottom end, and her sound has the unbelievable focus prevalent in the mid-60's era Selmers. Roberto's expert set-up has endowed her with a smooth and pliant fluidity allowing the fingers to gracefully fly through the registers. She lovingly allows the quietest pianissimos, quietly whispering on her B-flat subtone, while providing ample room to attain fortes that explode with primal force. This Mark VI is heaven to play and will provide a lifetime of enjoyment and supreme artistry to any musician.
